coach.

REGULATIONS
We would like the parents to help us with behavior
and compliance. Please have
your child be courteous to his/her teammates and coach by following these
rules:
-no
dunking or splashing
-no
misuse of equipment or facility
-no
pushing teammates into the pool |
-no
talking or going under water while your coach is talking
or giving instructions |
-most
importantly, listen and look at your coach while he/she
is teaching |
In
addition, we encourage swimmers to wear goggles. Those swimmers with long hair need to wear a swim cap or pull
hair back with a scrunchie or barrette. Team swim caps are required for
meets. With all of this in mind, class instruction and meets can be most
beneficial to all learners. |

Swim-a-Cross |
Every
year we conduct a swim-a-cross with the help and support of American Red
Cross. R&R Aquatics keeps
50% of the money raised while the other 50% goes to American Red Cross to
help other learn to swim programs. The swimmers are asked to raise a
minimum of $40.00 and in return they will receive a t-shirt.
Other prizes are available according to the amount of money raised.
The swim-a-cross is conducted during practice time and will be used as
part of our summer training. The goal is to swim a minimum of 50 lengths
continuous and no more than 100 lengths in the time allotted, 7:45am - 9:00am. See calendar for date of
swim-a-thon. |
We keep a count of laps and turn it into the American
Red Cross representative after swimming. You may bring a friend or family member to help count laps
for you. The money collected
is turned in by the following week and all awards are distributed at our
R&R party. See calendar for date.
